  • Mr. Vipin Malik comes from a long line of intellectuals and educationists. The family forte and inclination have been in the service of community. His career path has exhibited a stamp of merit and genius at every step. A Graduation in science was followed by pursuit of commerce and finance discipline was recognised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in awarding him the prestigious ‘Certificate of Merit’ in 1978.
  • He runs a firm of Chartered Accountancy, besides being owner and mentor of  credit rating agency namely Infomerics Valuation and Rating Private Ltd. and other investment companies.
  • Authored book titled as – “Value Reporting & Global Comparative Advantage – Banking and Finance”. (Comparative study of 91 banks in India with Chapters on banking). Writing another book “Wily Ways to Wealth in Black & White” besides other books on banking.
  • Writing regularly Articles / Columns (over ten years) in reputed national dailies on Economic and Financial issues.
  • Was a member of the Board of Governors of the Reserve Bank of India (1994-2001) and Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (2002-2005) – Currency Printing establishment.
  • Written Report for Reserve Bank of India for the Consolidated Accounting and Quantitative Supervision Methods for strengthening of the banking system in India. RBI has issued guidelines to Banks/ Financial Institutions to conform with Accounting Standards & Practices in its Consolidated Financial Statements based on his recommendations.
  • Member of the SEBI Advisory Committee on Venture Capital and National Shipping Board. Was elected Executive Member of India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi
  • At various times been serving on the Boards of Canara Bank, The Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd., The Industrial Finance Corporation of India Ltd. (IFCI), UTI Investment Advisory Services Ltd. (UTIIAS), Foremost Factors Ltd. (on behalf of Nations Bank USA), ZEE Telefilms Ltd., Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., Gujarat State Fertilizers Co. Ltd., GMR Power Corporation Private Limited, Daewoo Motors India Ltd., AB Hotels Ltd. (Radisson Hotel), Ispat Metallics Ltd. and other large private and public limited companies.
  • Associated with Management Institutions like Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and others, besides member of Delhi Golf Club, Chelmsford Club and FICCI, ASSOCHAM, PHD Chambers of Commerce etc. He is an active golfer.Involved in public life starting with the International Apartheid Movement; founder member of “World Youth Action Against Apartheid.”
  • Chairperson of ‘CRUSADERS’, a Society working for protecting the public interest, promoting awareness regarding rights of people to resist economic malpractices by some forces. Working on issues of Human Rights on behalf of ‘JHUGGI JHOPRIS’ and for their resettlement. Has been contributor to the cause of Bradari ‘JHANG BRADARI’ and was facilitated with SHAN-E-JHANG as acknowledgement for contribution to social objectives. Associated with a well known temple SHREE ADYA KATYANI SHAKTIPEETH MANDIR TRUST commonly known as Chattarpur Mata ka Mandir as Treasurer and Trustee of Trust.
  • At the international level, he is attached to The Industrialization Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) – Denmark, ING-Singapore to assist in USA/Europe/Asia Capital Markets and other International Banks as an Advisor.
  • Was a part of Search Committee for the appointment of Chief Executive of the banks and financial institutions including of J&K Bank, IFCI and erstwhile IDBI.
